Red Poppy
One of the many joys for photographers of being in France in the summer -- other than the fields of sunflowers -- are the region’s red poppies.
I found this scene in the Loire Valley. (And no, I didn’t place the poppy!). Using a specific film and filter combination gave the image more of a painterly feeling in honor of the region’s masters of light that brought us Impressionism.
